The Chemometrics for Environmental Omics Research Group focuses on developing and applying advanced chemometric tools to tackle environmental challenges. Our research integrates both laboratory and field studies to identify the presence, behavior, and impact of contaminants in water, soil, sediment, and air. Additionally, we assess the potential risks these pollutants pose to wildlife and human health.
We are based at the Institute of Environmental Assessment and Water Research (IDAEA, Institut de Diagnosi Ambiental i Estudis del Aigua), which is part of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC, Agencia Estatal Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas).
